Cancer the Crab
According to Greek myth, it was the Goddess Hera who cast up the crab to become the constellation of Cancer, for tormenting Hercules when he was trying to kill Hydra.Cancer rules the constellations between 21st June and 22nd July. Cancer is a water sign and as such can be extremely sensitive. Those born under Cancer are sympathetic and emotional.
Cancer is ruled by the Moon and is a feminine sign. Those under the sign of Cancer can experience mood swings or bouts of depression. They yearn for approval and family is extremely important to them. The influence of the moon causes them to have vivid imaginations.
